Bob, Sorry about that. It’s difficult, when you’re just talking with Chris, to stay on topic. The Book of Better offers all kinds of ways to make living with diabetes—no matter what flavor you have— Better. The pump is just one of those ways, and obviously only for those who require external insulin.

Enjoyable as always. I was a little frustrated to come away from the episode without a better sense as to whether I, as a PWD not yet requiring external insulin, was really in the book’s target audience. While insulin pumps featured prominently in the discussion, I couldn’t tell how much of the book’s focus was on that.

I like the idea! Sometimes an hour isn’t enough time to get all the “Why are you awesome?” and “What are you doing?” squeezed out of a person. I also disagree that gaming and diabetes are mutually exclusive but just really hard to find the link sometimes…

This is a really great podcast/interview. Both Christopher and Ben are immensely intelligent and I think Ben’s operating out of a truly unique niche in the gaming industry, and it’s people like him that can help improve the industry. As someone who is trying to write in the gaming industry, this was immensely helpful in shaping how I approach my plans.

Such a great podcast! Enjoyed every second of it. Ben is my favorite videogame critic and it’s great that you were able to get him on here. The things he said really is exactly what I’m going through right now and it’s crazy. Definitely will be back again to listen to the next podcast.

Nice to hear the conversation. As a parent, you can usually learn more by listening/overhearing. Very proud of my Jessica – she’s an amazing person all together, and the DOC has been very helpful/supportive for her. She’s a loving and giving person, and I’m glad to see that she can get back from others what she needs to make living w/her diabetes more successful for her.
